Asher...Little League 2014

This boy loves sports.  Baseball is one of his faves and I'm so amazed at how much his skills have grown over the past year.  He throws farther than I can, and fast.  He's hitting the balls out of the machine, scoring runs, getting outs.  It's just so fun to watch him play, thank goodness, because spring baseball in Albuquerque can be brutal with all the nasty wind and sand!

This year his team name was the Cubs.  He had a wonderful coach (Chris) who was so positive with the boys, even when giving them criticism.  He had one of his buddies, Dallan on the team too, making it even more fun.  Ash played his best, and was always starting the cheers in the dugout for his team mates.  His enthusiasm is so genuine and fun.
The end of the season party was something Asher was really looking forward to.  The boys were able to be the "team of the game" at Isotopes Park so the whole fam went for hotdogs and drinks and an Isotopes game with the team. The highlight was when they featured the boys on the huge HUGE screen on the field and each boys name was read.  He was SO excited to hear his name over the announcer and the claps and cheers.  What a fun night and a great season.  Way to go Asher and go Cubs!!
